SGHS Drama department is a proud part of the South Garner High School in Garner, NC. From Shakespeare to Footloose, we always have an amazing time and strive to perform at the utmost ability.

South Garner High School theater continues to show its abilities in the following categories:
2024-2025 NCTC – Best Director, Best Actor, Two Outstanding Actor, Best Ensemble, Distinguished Play and Audience Choice
2024 DPAC Rising Stars Competition – Nominated for Best Stage Design
2025 DPAC Rising Stars Competition – Two nominations in Best Student Choreography and Best Ensemble Tier 1
About
Our mission is to support the SGHS theater department in creating a space for students to gain confidence in theater projects. These projects promote confidence and individuality and a sense of accomplishment. Not everyone will go on to be a great actor but everyone should have an experience to look back that developed a strong sense of self and of course had FUN!
